meet rachel

Born and raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, having spent my late twenties soaking up every ounce of San Francisco, I planted my flag in Los Angeles in 2012. I was able to quit my corporate career to see if I could make a living in the world of entertainment. 

I spent over a decade as a professional stand up comedian, performing all over the country while also maintaining a thriving career in a Fortune 100 software company.  With a boatload of planning, mountains of ‘Leap and the Net Will Appear’ self help books and refrigerator magnets, as well as some forgotten stock options, I was able to make a break from Corporate America to follow my dreams of having a career in entertainment. 

I’ve been known as a frequent crowd favorite and have been a finalist (and occasional winner) in countless comedy competitions. I also was recently voted Best of the Fest in two of Southern California’s Biggest Comedy Festivals. I have been blessed to perform in some of the best clubs in the country and shared a stage with the most famous comedians in the world, (Dana Carvey, Robin Williams, Tim Allen, and Dave Chappelle to drop a few names for ya). 

Stand Up Comedy has always and will always be my first love. For my first five years in Los Angeles, I had so much fun driving all over the city perform and watch comedy shows. I traveled to perform stand up in other states and cities, studied at the famous Improv schools: UCB and The Groundlings Theater. I continued to study voice acting and have been a guest on friends’ podcasts. I pretty much dipped my pedicured toes in whatever Hollywood puddles I could find! 

Now, after almost ten years as an ‘Angelino,’ I happily making my living as a voice actor. You can hear my voice in the background of movies and TV shows, on the radio, television and online commercials, and lots and lots of corporate videos.  I now spend my days auditioning and performing in my home studio and hanging with my dog, two cats and dreamy husband. 

I stand here, happier in my life than I ever could have imagine, living securely in a beautiful home in Southern California with a hubby and pets I adore… and the attention and space to devote myself to my passions.
